The size is just right for our room - we sit about six feet back from the set.We have a Samsung Bluray player, and the TV input automatically switches to that HDMI port when the player is turned on, which is convenient. The speakers inside the TV are decent for TV shows, but not for movies, in my opinion (deep bass is needed for the movies I watch). The TV does not ship with the universal remote (only a standard one), but there is a postcard with a code included to order the universal remote (for free) through the mail or online. I filled out the request online, and the system said it would be 10 - 12 weeks before we received it. Unrelated to this specific TV, I don't like the Samsung streaming software (Allshare) which is available only for Windows (not Mac). It was buggy on my Windows machine (refusing to ignore the standard media folders that I... It just came in yesterday and so far I am very impressed. The contrast is greater than last years model, when the screen goes black the tv looks like its off. Also the wireless is truly effortless. Since it came with only a regular remote and every time you want to type something like say your 10letter password you have use the up/down/right/left and select key for each of the letter. As well as trying to move the mouse pointer with the remote is so ridiculous the amount of time you have to press for it to move barely. Along with this there wasn't any postcard for a better remote like other people have mention, since we bought two and either of them have it. The good new is that it is compatible with some wireless mouse and keyboard. The bad part is that none of its documentation list what it is compatible with, and nothing can be found on its website.
