The CXS-2 Opteka Video Shoulder Support System will allow any filmmaker to achieve professional results. Constructed of an extremely high quality aluminum and stainless steel material, the shoulder support system is designed to accommodate small digital SLR cameras, all the way up to prosumer camcorders. Basically every element of the Opteka Video Shoulder Support System is adjustable to align and balance your rig. Almost all adjustments are made using thumbscrews, and can be further tightened with a wrench for added confidence. The camera, and shoulder pad can all be adjusted to fit your body (right or left shoulder) and shooting style.



The Opteka CXSB-1 is two-part shoulder strap support system belt designed to fit the CXS-1 & CXS-2 video shoulder support rigs. The CXSB-1's fully padded design alleviates stress on your shoulder and provides extra security for your kit. Using the CXSB-1 also transforms your CXS-1 or CXS-2 into a hands-free rig (adding the CBW-1 counter balance weight is also recommended to fortify the hands-free option).



The Opteka CBW-1 is 4.1-pound counter weight designed to stabilize and balance the CXS-1 & CXS-2 video shoulder support rigs. The CBW-1 includes bracket, four hex screws and a hex key for attachment to the CXS-1 or CXS-2. The CBW-1 may be stacked as needed (using the same bracket). A heavier camcorder or a DSLR with a large lens would require two counter weights stacked to provide the proper counter-balance. Combining the CBW-1 counter weight and the CXSB-1 system strap (not included) transforms your CXS-1 or CXS-2 into a hands-free rig.

This review is from: Opteka CXS-2 Dual-Grip Video Shoulder Stabilizer Support System with 15mm Accessory Rod, CBW-1 Counterweight and CXSB-1 Shoulder Strap Belt (Electronics) I recently purchase this product to use with both my 60D DSLR & my 5DMK2. For the price that it is you can't really go wrong. I do suggest investing in a viewfinder. You can find one online for about under $100 dollars. The materials they use are very nice aluminum or metal. It doesn't feel cheap. The shoulder pad is very comfortable for long video shooting. I honestly dont have anything negative to say about the product. I guess so far so good.
