5 of 5 people found the following review helpful This TV is great, with some minor caveats, March 24, 2012 By  Jim (Utah) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase( What's this?) This review is from: Samsung UN46ES6100 46-Inch 1080p 120 Hz Slim LED HDTV (Black) (Electronics) First of all, the TV itself is great; we love the picture quality and the smart features. The size is just right for our room - we sit about six feet back from the set. We have a Samsung Bluray player, and the TV input automatically switches to that HDMI port when the player is turned on, which is convenient. The speakers inside the TV are decent for TV shows, but not for movies, in my opinion (deep bass is needed for the movies I watch). The TV does not ship with the universal remote (only a standard one), but there is a postcard with a code included to order the universal remote (for free) through the mail or online. I filled out the request online, and the system said it would be 10 - 12 weeks before we received it. Unrelated to this specific TV, I don't like the Samsung streaming software (Allshare) which is available only for Windows (not Mac). It was buggy on my Windows machine (refusing to ignore the standard media folders that I... It just came in yesterday and so far I am very impressed. The contrast is greater than last years model, when the screen goes black the tv looks like its off. Also the wireless is truly effortless. Anyway great tv, great price, highly recommended. Le - See all my reviews    This review is from: Samsung UN40ES6100 40-Inch 1080p 120 Hz Slim LED HDTV (Black) (Electronics) The model I have is the UN46ES6100, this TV itself is great; the picture quality and smart feature is very nice. The big downside is with its web browsing or anything that involve typing. Since it came with only a regular remote and every time you want to type something like say your 10letter password you have use the up/down/right/left and select key for each of the letter. As well as trying to move the mouse pointer with the remote is so ridiculous the amount of time you have to press for it to move barely. Along with this there wasn't any postcard for a better remote like other people have mention, since we bought two and either of them have it. The good new is that it is compatible with some wireless mouse and keyboard. The bad part is that none of its documentation list what it is compatible with, and nothing can be found on its website. They offer a App for apple and android, BUT right now the apple version doesn't really work (so many people... 83 of 89 people found the following review helpful Nice feel, limited functions, does work on Mac, September 26, 2009 By  Mark Adler (Pasadena, CA United States) - See all my reviews       This review is from: Logitech Wireless Presenter R400 with Red Laser Pointer (Office Product) Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program ( What's this?) First off, you don't really get a feel for the size of thing from the picture or even the video. As noted in the product dimensions, it's 4.5" by 1.5", so draw that to see what it's like. It's small and very comfortable to hold, with a rubbery surface that makes it very unlikely you'll drop it even with a light grip. I especially like that the USB dongle stores inside the unit, so the two pieces are much less likely to get separated. It comes with a nice protective zipper case, though I don't use it. I just throw the thing in my laptop bag without the case. I use this on a Mac and it works, mostly. With a little customizing, it works completely. The first time I plugged it in, a "Keyboard Assistant" ran since the Mac didn't recognize the "keyboard". I simply quit the assistant, and there was no problem. The forward, back, and black screen buttons work fine on both Powerpoint and Keynote. However out of the box, the "play" button works on... Consider the R800 for Pro Use., December 15, 2009 By  Michael A. Israel (United States) - See all my reviews       This review is from: Logitech Wireless Presenter R400 with Red Laser Pointer (Office Product) Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program ( What's this?) Anyone looking for a solid, easy to use wireless presenter will be more than pleased with the R400. From an ergonomics perspective I think it is, as Goldilocks would say. "just right". Some of the smaller presenters often require a lot of fidgeting. At the same time, you do not want to be holding a brick in your hand when standing in front of an audience. This unit is large enough to be easy to use, small enough to be discrete. The rubberized surface helps ensure it will not go flying due to an over-zealous hand gesture. Set up is very easy, plug the dongle into a laptop and you are ready to go. I have used this on a variety of laptops and it has always worked flawlessly. If you are a facilitator or do a lot of presentations, you should consider the upgrade to the R800. Once you adopt the practice of using a vibrating timer, you will never want to be without this feature. Likewise, the more powerful laser on the R800 makes a big difference in... (Bay Area, CA) - See all my reviews    This review is from: Logitech Wireless Presenter R400 with Red Laser Pointer (Office Product) Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program ( What's this?) Right off the clip, the R400 has a few nice touches: - Ships with two Duracell batteries. - USB transmitter inserts into the presenter itself; doesn't need to be carried separately. - Includes a nice neoprene-like case. - No software! (this is a GOOD thing, the less clutter on my PC, the better) Even though OS X isn't listed as compatible with this presenter, it works! Don't let the "Unknown keyboard" dialog on USB insert scare you; it works just fine. - Laser pointer works. - Next and previous buttons work. - "Black screen" button works. - "Launch slide show" button... I'm not sure what this does because all I can get it to do is to cancel the slideshow and show PowerPoint. After using this, I'm not sure how I lived without it. Bringing to all of my presentations!
